If you’re looking for the perfect vegan replacement to mince to use in Shepherds pie and bolognese but aren’t a fan of the current vegan options that are often made of soya, then you’ll love this new range of plant-based minces made with fresh vegetables from Reeroot Foods.

The vegan minces were developed by former chef and food development specialist, Richard Reeves, who was inspired by his belief in that plants are the foundation of the new food future. Reeves says: “People are increasingly on the look out for delicious and convenient plant-based food products. But finding them isn’t always easy and the food values of many vegetarian and vegan products aren’t particularly inspiring for the home cook. GOODMINZ changes all that.”

Wholesome ingredients

GOODMINZ comes in a rainbow of four vibrantly coloured products – Green, Purple, Orange and Brown. Each product is made from five minced fresh vegetables and other wholesome ingredients like chickpeas and quinoa. This celebration of vegetables makes GOODMINZ uniquely different to the ‘veggie minces’ and other meat substitutes on the market. On top of its food values, GOODMINZ makes a broad contribution to a healthy balanced diet and is a source of protein and fibre and low in saturated fat.

Launching in January 2018, GOODMINZ is an inspiring new kitchen staple – vegan-friendly mince made using fresh vegetables and wholesome ingredients.

GOODMINZ is delicious straight from the pack – the flavour of each product comes directly from the blend of vegetables. The products are only lightly seasoned with onion, garlic, salt and pepper, so cooks can pimp GOODMINZ by adding herbs, spices, seeds, nuts, fruits and flowers to make their own favourite recipes and combinations.

The mince can be easily shaped into burgers, sausages and no-meat balls, and used as ‘crumbles’ in wraps and as pasta and pizza toppings. The possibilities are endless!
