The new range is comprised of six new products, including a seeded loaf, white and brown rolls and a seeded cob, with prices ranging from £2.50 to £3.00.

The six-strong range includes:

Gluten Free Seeded Loaf 550g (£2.50)

Gluten Free Seeded Cob 400g (£3.00)

Gluten Free Brown Loaf 550g (£2.50)

Gluten Free White Rolls 4-pack (£2.50)

Gluten Free Brown Rolls 4-pack (£2.50)

Gluten Free White Loaf 550g (£2.50)

Cross-contamination

The products are manufactured in a dedicated facility for gluten-free products, and are packed at source in a bakeable film. The stores then bake off in the ovens in the bakeable film so they do not come in to contact with bakery ingredients and other products.

The products are dairy-free but do contain Egg.

Sainsbury’s

In January 2017, Sainsbury’s became the first supermarket to offer gluten-free bread that has been freshly baked in store when they released six varieties of gluten-free bread at 188 of its in-store bakeries. Sainsbury’s gluten-free breads are baked in a dedicated gluten-free factory, where they are then sealed in a bag within the factory. The breads are then baked in the bags so there’s no risk of cross contamination.
