Acai Breakfast Bowl

You can top this breakfast bowl with granola, nut butter, yoghurt, mixed seeds, fresh fruit – whatever you wish – or just enjoy it as it comes.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana sliced
  • 150 g mixed frozen berries  blueberries, strawberries and raspberries
  • 1 tsp acai powder
  • 1/4 tsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 60 ml almond milk
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 Medjool dates pitted

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a high speed blender and pulse until you’ve reached a soft serve consistency. You want a semi-frozen finish, so resist adding more liquid and instead just keep blending to force the frozen fruit to break down.

  2. Serve immediately before it melts. Enjoy.
