Perfect with any roast dinner, but especially at Christmas, these delicious air -fried parsnips from Just Spices make the perfect side dish...
Peel the parsnips and cut in half lengthways. Parboil in salted water for about 5 minutes, or until the tip of the knife pierces with little resistance. Drain well and pat dry.
Mix the honey, olive oil, garlic pepper and salt well in a mixing bowl, then brush the top of the parsnips with the honey mixture, reserving half.
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C/400°F. Once preheated, place the parsnips in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. Air fry for 15-20 minutes. Halfway through, turn with tongs and brush the other side with the rest of the honey mixture. Serve hot as a side dish.
