The gluten-free events coming up in 2019 you can’t miss

We may be in the last few months of 2019, but there is still plenty of time to get involved in these gluten-free events!

We love a good food show here at Gluten-Free Heaven, and so we’ve put together this list of all the remaining gluten-free events you can attend this year. From Cardiff to Liverpool, there are events happening all over the UK, but these are the top 5 that can’t be missed!

Winchester

Wessex Gluten Free Food Fair

When: Saturday 5th October, 11-3pm.

Where: Guildhall Winchester

What can you expect? Hosted by Coeliac UK, the popular event returns, featuring speaker Dr Stacey, who specialises in gastroenterology.

Manchester

Free From Festival

When: Saturday 19th October, 11.30-5.30pm.

Where: Fairfield Social Club

What can you expect? It’s Free From’s first event in Manchester and they’ve chosen the quirky Fairfield Social Club to host their event. Much like Bristol’s event, there will be lots of exhibitors to browse, live cooking demonstrations, and live music.

Liverpool

The Free From Show Winter 2019

When: Saturday 2nd November to Sunday 3rd November, 10-4pm each day.

Where: Exhibition Centre

What can you expect? The event will have 1000s of products for you to browse, including food & drink, home & lifestyle, and skin & body. There’ll be cooking classes and free samples too.

Cardiff

The Wales Gluten Free Food Show

When: Saturday 16th November, 10-4pm.

Where: Cardiff City Stadium

What can you expect? The show returns “bigger and better than before”. The event promises a day of gluten-free fun, including specialist talks, cookery demos, dietetic clinics and of course, loads of tasty gluten-free food.

Bristol

Free From Festival

When: Saturday 23rd November, 11-6pm

Where: The Passenger Shed

What can you expect? You’ll be able to sample ‘free from’ products from across the UK, including from local businesses from the South West. As well as healthy options, they’ll be sugar-free chocolate tasting, gluten-free desserts and alcohol to buy too. Live cooking demonstrations will take place from expert chefs and speakers, providing tips on how to cook without using gluten, refined sugar etc. Live music will be played by up-and-coming artist ILONA.

And lastly a date for your diaries for next summer!

The Allergy and Free-From Show in London is the ‘world’s largest free from celebration”. It takes place in July 2020 and tickets are free!
