A gluten-free soup will feature in Costa Coffee’s new September menu, alongside a whole range of other seasonal food and drinks.
The Chicken, Spinach and Lentil Soup (£2.99) is free from gluten and approved by the Coeliac Society. It appears on the ‘breakfast and lunch’ portion of the menu, which is branching out to include more free-from, vegan and vegetarian options.
Gennaro Pelliccia, Master of Coffee at Costa, explained: ‘After the scorching summer we’ve had, we’re ready to welcome autumn and all the flavours it brings.’
She said: ‘We’ve taken inspiration from this time of year to offer an exciting range and catered to a variety of dietary requirements to ensure there is something special for everyone.’
The new menu will be available in Costa stores from Thursday 6th September. The Chicken, Spinach and Lentil Soup will be sold from £2.99.
