There’s nothing like snuggling up with a big mug of warming hot chocolate on a winter’s day. And this year vegans can get their hot chocolate fix with all the trimmings thanks to Sainsbury’s who are now stocking a range of vegan marshmallows and soy whipped cream.

Marshmallows are a lovely, decadent addition to any hot chocolate, but the gelatine that they usually contain? not so much! So say hello to Freedom Marshmallows – which are free from gelatin, dairy, gluten, and artificial flavours or colours.
They come in mini pink and white, and also vanilla flavours.
The marshmallows, which cost £2 for a 75g bag, are such a new addition, that they’re not even on the Sainsbury’s website yet. However, you can find them in stores across the country.
