Cold Brew ice cream

Ice cream, ice cream! We all scream for… cold brew ice cream!

A delicious gluten-free and dairy-free ice cream with a twist: coffee! This cold brew ice cream recipe doesn’t require much work, and the results are better than you get at the shops. We recommend using Califia Farms Cold Brew coffee or making your own.

  • 3 ripe bananas, peeled, sliced and frozen
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 115 ml Cold Brew coffee
  • 25 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • vegan chocolate chunks, for serving


  1. Add the bananas, vanilla extract and Cold Brew coffee to a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the blender as necessary.

  2. After 1-2 minutes of blending, add the cocoa powder and blend until well incorporated, scraping down the sides of the blender as necessary.

  3. Pour into a freezer-friendly airtight container. Sprinkle chocolate chunks on top if desired, then freeze for at least 2 hours until the mixture is solid. Allow the ice cream to thaw for a 5-10 minutes before scooping.
