Ingredients

  • 600 g plums
  • 50 g caster sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 250 g FREEE Plain White Flour
  • 125 g caster sugar
  • 25 g demerara sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 1 tbsp gluten-free oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/Gas Mark 4.

  2. Wash the plums and put them into a 1½lt/3pt oven dish or wash and slice the plums, remove the stones and put them into your dish.

  3. Add the caster sugar and water and stir to mix.

  4. Measure the flour, caster sugar and demerara sugar into a mixing bowl.

  5. Slice the butter into lumps, add these to the bowl and roughly mix with a fork, to create lumpy ‘breadcrumbs’.

  6. Tip the mixture over the fruit and level the top. Sprinkle the oats over the top.

  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
