Ingredients

  • 100 g turkey mince
  • 1/2 white onion finely chopped
  • 500 g passata
  • 1/2 tin kidney beans drained
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 1 chilli chopped
  • 1 gluten-free vegetable stock cube
  • a splash water
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cumin

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey mince in a pan until brown, then drain any excess fat. Add the onion and cook until tender.

  2. Mix in all the ingredients except the water- add water according to the desired thickness of the sauce.

  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve with rice or potato wedges and add cheese if you wish. A couple of slices of gluten-free bread make this even more delicious!
