Camembert & Cranberry Parcels

Delicious gluten-free Camembert and cranberry parcels, filled with sweet cranberry sauce and wickedly melted Camembert cheese. These little parcels of heaven would make a perfect alternative to turkey for any vegetarian diners this Christmas.

Camembert & Cranberry Parcels

Ingredients:

  • 3 Camembert wheels: 250g each
  • 3 tablespoons cranberry sauce
  • 1 block Silly Yak puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten

Method:

  1. Heat oven to 200C/gas 6. Dust your surface and roll the pastry out, approx. 5mm thick. Cut out 3 circles approx. 20cm in diameter.
  2. Unwrap the Camembert and place it in the centre of your pastry circles.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of cranberry sauce on top of the camembert.
  4. Fold the puff pastry around the camembert, crimping the top together and sealing the edges.
  5. Brush with whisked egg and place on a lined baking tray
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until pastry is golden brown.
