Mozzarella sticks
Ingredients
- 2 free-range whisked eggs
 - 50 g hazelnuts, finely crushed
 - 15 g fresh parsley
 - 400 g mozzarella, or fontina, taleggio or Cheddar
 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
 - 60-90 g gluten-free breadcrumbs
 
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C/Gas Mark 4. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

Cut the cheese into strips roughly 4cm (1½in) long and 1cm (½in) wide. In a dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, paprika, salt and pepper.

Take half of the cheese strips and dip them into the whisked egg, coat with the breadcrumb mixture and place on the baking tray.
 - 
										
In another dish, mix together the crushed nuts and parsley.
 - 
										
Dip the other half of the cheese strips in the egg, coat with the nut mixture, then place on the baking tray.
 - 
										
Bake all of the strips in the oven for 5-8 minutes, taking care they do not over-cook.
